A catch-all feature that is activated for a certain e-mailbox will allow you to receive email messages that are sent to email addresses that do not actually exist. In other words, if you disable an email address and someone still sends an email to it, or to any misspelled email address under the very same domain name, you will get the message in the catch-all mailbox. Using this functionality implies that you will no longer miss an email for any reason, which could be crucial in case you run some business, for example. Since you may start receiving junk emails, you can combine the catch-all functionality with anti-spam filters in order to receive only legitimate emails in your inbox. Only one single mailbox per domain name can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be activated for a catch-all mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Website Hosting

You’ll be able to set up a catch-all mailbox with ease if you’ve got a website hosting plan with our company. The Email Manager in our in-house built Hepsia Control Panel is full-featured, yet very user-friendly, and it will enable you to activate different features, including the catch-all one, with just a couple of mouse clicks. All the email addresses that you have set up will be displayed in alphabetical order in this section and next to each of them you will see a small-size "Catch-all" icon. Clicking it once will enable this feature, clicking it twice will disable it. Since you can have just one such mailbox per domain, our system will alert you if you’ve already got a different one with this option activated or if you’ve got active email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting

The catch-all option can be enabled effortlessly in case you have a semi-dedicated server account with our company. All the email addresses that you have created using the domain names hosted in your account will be shown in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Control Panel and you will see a small-size logo handily located directly next to each of them. With just a single mouse click, you can enable or disable the catch-all option for any mailbox of your desire provided that there isn't another mailbox under that same domain with the option already activated and there isn't enabled email forwarding. Instead, you can right-click on a mailbox and enable the feature using the contextual menu that will pop up. If any of the conditions for setting up a catch-all mailbox is not fulfilled, our system will warn you, but will not disable or replace anything automatically.
